DEMON´S SOULS

- – - – - Trophy List – - – - -

Old King’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Conqueror of Old King Doran.

Old King Doran is an optional boss in 1-1, the first area of the first world “Boletarian Palace”. He is a boss that doesn’t need to be killed unlike the other bosses of the game. He is located where the red eyed knight is to the left of the first fog gate. When you get up the stairs where a soldier rolls a boulder down them at you, after dodging the boulder and going up the stairs turn around and it will lead you straight to him building. To open his building you need the Mausoleum key, to get this key you must get it from Ostrava the prince of Bolataria. You can do this the fast way by killing him and picking it up off of his corpse, or in 1-4 when he commits suicide it will be on his corpse.

Strategy -

* Use Thief’s Ring *

Although the 1st boss attemptable do not attempt him yet, he is the hardest hitting boss to my knowledge. Do not get discouraged tho, you can easily cheese him at the end of your first play-through. All you need to do is equip your Thief’s Ring and whichever ranged damage your prefer.

Now just run in and say hi to him then pluck him with whatever you use run out the door and turn left and hide in the building across the bridge. Then all you have to do is rinse and repeat, he will follow you for a brief moment but when he loses line of sight on you he will give up and go back allowing for you to get in another cheap shot.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

If you are struggling with this strategy there are more here Boss Guide!

Flying Dragon’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Blue Flying Dragon”.

The Blue Flying Dragon is an optional boss in 1-4, the fourth and last area of the first world “Boletarian Palace”. He is a boss that doesn’t need to be killed unlike the other bosses of the game. You can see him before this at the dragon’s nest swatting his tail over some treasures keeping you away from them, once you kill him you have easy access to these items. Near the end of 1-4, which is very very short, you will go up a series of stairs in a tower and then as you exit there will be the dragon in view. This battle doesn’t consist of much fighting and you can run by the dragon and never kill it if you choose to but since you get a hefty amount of souls, the trophy, and it is very simple I would use the strategy below to slay it.

Strategy -

* Don’t Use Thief’s Ring *

Another dragon eh… Well this one has even more life than the last and is luckily slightly less annoying. First thing is first when you get to him make him unleash flames on one of the fatties by taunting him, then nail the dragon with arrows/spells until he is at half health then he will fly away. For safety I would use ranged to take out the other fatty but you can dispatch him however you do best.

Now for the second part of the fight, he will begin breathing flames in a left to right then right to left motion once you get close. Slightly after he begins left to right, shoot up the left path as fast as you can (preferably with second-chance to revive you if possible) when you get by him just use auto-

lock on. Then shoot him with magic and/or arrows until he dies.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

Trophy of Hardness – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Hardstone.

- Shard of Hardstone – 2-1 and 2-2 Filthy Man Vendor (500 souls each).
- Large Shard of Hardstone – 2-2 Filthy Man Vendor (1500 souls each).
- Chunk of Hardstone – 2-2 Miners, 1-4 and 2-2 Crystal Geckos.
- Pure Hardstone – 2-2, On dead body above Crystal Gecko’s nest.

This is very simple since you can buy shards and large shards, and the pure can be found easily as treasure. You will also fight so many 2-2 miners that you will get many chucks and the geckos drop very large amounts of chucks as well. These are the basic building blocks of upgrades they go up to +10.

There are not all that great so I suggest not using it on a weapon you plan to use for the whole game, you must take a weapon up to +10 using only Hardstones. If you have a shield you plan on using permanently I would suggest doing this to your shield it is very good for shields.

Example Weapons – Knight Shield, Purple Flame Shield, and Compound Short Bow.

Trophy of Sharpness – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Sharpstone.

- Shard of Sharpstone – 2-1 and 2-2 Filthy Man Vendor (500 souls each).
- Large Shard of Sharpstone – 2-2 Filthy Man Vendor (1500 souls each).
- Chunk of Sharpstone – 2-2 Miners, 1-4 and 2-2 Crystal Geckos.
- Pure Sharpstone – 2-2, On dead body above Crystal Gecko’s nest.

This is very simple since you can buy shards and large shards, and the pure can be found easily as treasure. You will also fight so many 2-2 miners that you will get many chucks and the geckos drop very large amounts of chucks as well. These are the basic building blocks of upgrades they go up to +10.

There are not all that great so I suggest not using it on a weapon you plan to use for the whole game, you must take a weapon up to +10 using only Sharpstones.

Example Weapons – Estoc, Dagger, and Scimitar.

Trophy of Distinction – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Clearstone.

- Shard of Clearstone – 2-2 Filthy Man Vendor (3000 souls each).
- Chunk of Clearstone – 1-3 Assassins, 2-2 and 2-3 C. Geckos.
- 2-2 Treasure, near Giant bearbug in tunnel.
- 2-2 Treasure, near Scirvir.
- Pure Clearstone – 1-3 Rescue Ostrava.

Clearstone is a fairly easy to collect stone, you will be able to make this one fairly easily after you rescue Ostrava. Through treasures and gecko drops you can get a massive amount of chunks easily, and the vendor allows an unlimited ability to buy shards. You need to raise a weapon able to upgraded with clearstones to +3 usually, then to +5 using clearstones.

Example Weapons – Battle Axe, Uchigatana, and Secret Dagger.

Master Basher’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Greystone.

- Shard of Greystone – 2-2 Miners and 2-2 Sand Worms.
- Chunk of Greystone – 2-2 Sand Worms.
- 2-2 Treasure, In the general area where Patches is.
- Pure Greystone – 2-2, Show Scirvir the Dragon Bone Smasher (Pure White World Tendency).

For the most part Greystone is an easy one although in the end you will probably need to grind some chunks. The chunks are easily grinded if you go from the flamelurker start and backtrack to kill the 6 Sand Worms in 2-2. After you get the pure stone you can attempt this at any time pretty much but you might want to wait to later if your not going to use the weapon because of having to grind less chunks. You need to usually get a weapon to +3, then raise it to +5 using greystones.

Example Weapons – Bastard Sword, Battle Axe, and Morning Star.

Master Slasher’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Bladestone.

- Shard of Bladestone – Any Skeletons in World 4.
- Chunk of Bladestone – 4-2, Black Phantom x2 Kantana Skeleton (Black World Tendency).
- Pure Bladestone – 4-2 Black Phantom x2 Katana Skeleton (Black World Tendency).

For this trophy you need to upgrade a weapon to +3 most of the time, then up to +5 with bladestones. The Shards and the Chunks do not really matter, since the Pure will take you forever. The Pure Bladestone has a 1/200 drop rate from the BP x2 Katana Skeletons in 4-2 during Black World Tendency, this makes it a very large grinding process. You will get so many shards and chunks while trying to get the Pure that it doesn’t really matter about them, more importantly is for me to tell you a good strategy to get the Pure.

Enter in from the Old Hero point, then backtrack through the slug area until you get to the reaper. Fire a few arrows into him until he dies, then continue on until you reach the doorway to outside then walk slowly. When you are close enough behind him use Soul Sucker to instantly kill him. This is a good strategy because this skeleton is a madman and will tear you apart,or maybe he won’t either way this gets you tons of souls and is faster than anything else possible. It took me over 300 kills and that took over 5 Hours, I have heard stories of under 100 and of over 1000 so get ready for a grind.

Example Weapons – Kilij, Uchigatana, and Winged Spear.

Master Bowman’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Bow by Spiderstone.

- Shard of Spiderstone – 2-2 Miners, 2-1 C. Geckos.
- Chunk of Spiderstone – 2-2 Miners, 2-1 C. Geckos.
- Pure Spiderstone – 2-1 Armor Spider Archstone.

You will have to get these but as long as you go for the crystal geckos you should have plenty of shards and chunks. The pure comes from a boss so you don’t have to worry about it, so as long as you keep on those geckos you should be fine without grinding otherwise hit the miners at the start of 2-2. You need to take a bow up to +3, then afterwords upgrade the bow up to +5 with spiderstones. This stone makes insane dexterity bows.

Example Weapons – Short Bow, Long Bow, and Long Compound Bow.

Poison Master’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Mercurystone.

- Shards of Mercurystone – 3-1 Prisoners and 3-2 Worms.
- Chunk of Mercurystone – 3-2 Worms.
- 3-2 Treasure, on dead body in swamp.
- 3-1 Treasure, Prison of Hope 2F East(Pure White World Tendency).
- Pure Mercurystone – 3-2 Large Worms.
- 5-3 Treasure, Dead body in plague babies swamp.

You may need to grind chunks for this although I would suggest waiting and just collecting treasure, this would be a very hard one to grind. The shards will be easy, you should get plenty of them and the pure is a treasure so you don’t have to worry about that. Most weapons have to be upgraded to

Example Weapons – Falcion, Winged Spear, and Rapier.

Flame Master’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Dragonstone.

- Shard of Dragonstone – 2-2 Filthy Man Vendor (3000 souls each).
- Chunk of Dragonstone – 2-2 Bear bugs and 2-2 Unique Black Phantom.
- 2-2 Treasure, Lava Area.
- 2-2 Treasure, Flamelurker area.
- 2-3 Treasure.
- Pure Dragonstone – 2-3 Dragon God Archstone.
- Treasure, 2-2 Lava area.

You will never need to grind these, the shards you can buy and drop like rain and the chunks are found in many treasures in large amounts. The purestone is most easily gained through the boss archstone but the lava area is closer if you want to make it before then. First you must make a +3 weapon usually, then make it +5 with dragonstones. You should have no trouble this may be your first upgrade trophy.

Example Weapons – Long Sword, Knight Sword, and Morning Star.

Blood Master’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Suckerstone.

- Shard of Suckerstone – 4-2 Slugs and 5-2 Slugs.
- 5-1 Treasure.
- Chunk of Suckerstone – 4-2 Slugs and 5-2 Slugs.
- 5-2 Treasure, dead body in poison swamp.
- Pure Suckerstone – 5-2 Slugs
- 5-2 Treasure, Dead body in poison swamp.
- 5-3 Treasure, Dead body in plague babies swamp.

This one might require grinding but it is super easy to grind. You can get the pure through treasure, and the chunks and shards will come easy because there are a massive pile of slugs in the cove of 5-2. Just go there and either wail on they with some wide aoe melee swings, aoe spells, or just pick them apart one by one at a time. You should easily get this trophy very fast if you destroy the slug cove a couple of times. You must first raise a weapon that can use suckerstones to +3, then to +5 with suckerstones.

Example Weapons – Shotel, Kilij, Uchigatana, and Claws.

Life Master’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Marrowstone.

- Shard of Marrowstone – 5-1 Red Balloon Bugs and 5-2 Mosquitos.
- Chunk of Marrowstone – 5-1 Red Balloon Bugs and 5-2 Mosquitos.
- Pure Marrowstone – 5-1 Red Balloon Bugs.
- 5-3 Treasure, Dead Body in plague babies swamp.

This is one you will always have to grind there just are not enough drops of chunks to get what you need too. Lucky for everyone they aren’t hard to grind, if you enter through the Leechmonger entrance after you have lowered the bridge and go across it to kill the mosquitoes. Then head down off the path into the swamp off the side and head to where you enter the 2nd swamp area and follow the path next to the rocks until you get to the spot where you climb up to the slug group you knock down. This is the fastest way to grind them I found and it goes pretty fast. You get the pure from a treasure so do not worry about that at all. You must first upgrade most weapons to +3, then upgrade them to +5 using Marrowstones.

Example Weapons – Rapier, Winged Spear, and Secret Dagger.

Moonlight’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Moonlightstone.

- Shard of Moonlightstone – 3-1 Once Royal Mistress (3000 souls each).
- 3-2 Treasure.
- Chunk of Moonlightstone – 3-2 and 3-3 C. Geckos.
- 3-1 Black Phantom in front of Fool’s Idol.
- 3-2 Treasure.
- Pure Moonlightstone – 3-2 and 3-3 C. Geckos.

You should buy the shards from the once royal mistress so you do not have to worry about shards, the chunks should come with grinding the pure stone. You shouldn’t have to grind too much with this Pure Moonlightstone just go to 3-2 and 3-3 and kill the C. Geckos they seemed to have a unusually high drop rate for pure stones. One playthrough should be enough.

Example Weapons – Scimitar, Uchigatana, and Winged Spear.

Darkmoon’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Darkmoonstone.

- Shard of Darkmoonstone – 4-2 Graverobber Blige (3000 souls each).
- Chunk of Darkmoonstone – 4-2 Reapers.
- 4-2 Black Phantom guarding Urbain.
- Pure Darkmoonstone – 4-2 and 4-3 C. Geckos.

The hardest part about this is the pure, you must get it from Geckos. Where you fight the Storm King there are 2 C. Geckos and you can kill them each 4 times, this is 8 kills you are almost guaranteed to get it on your first playthrough if you kill all 8 of them. The chunks drop in high numbers from the ones that do not drops pures so you shouldn’t have to worry about chunks at all. The shards are nothing to worry about because you can buy them at any time you want, there is an unlimited supply of them for you to get. You will need a weapon at +3, then raise it to +5 using Darkmoonstones.

Example Weapons – Secret Dagger, Kilij, Uchigatana, and Estoc.

Congratulant’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Faintstone.

- Shard of Faintstone – 5-2 Dirty Woman Vendor (10,000s).
- Treasure, 5-2 Dead body in building.
- Chunk of Faintstone – 5-2 Goblin Shaman and Geckos in 5-2 and 5-3
- 5-2 Black Phantom with Meat Cleaver.
- 5-2 Treasure, Dead body in building.
- Pure Faintstone – 5-2 and 5-3 C. Geckos.
- Talk to Urbain’s female follower in the Nexus wiht 20 faith, must be before learning miracles from Urbain.

The hardest part about this is getting the pure I would just get 20 faith to do it if I were you but that is your choice. Otherwise you will get the chunks easily from treasures, the BP, Geckos, and shamans the shards are nothing to worry about because you can buy them from a vendor. It should be a fairly easy one to grind out if need be as well so this is not one to worry about too much. You must first increase most weapons to +3, then take it up to +5 with faithstones.

Example Weapons – Knight Sword, Mace, and Morning Star.

Shade Master’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Obtained Best Weapon by Cloudstone.

- Shard of Cloudstone – 4-2 Graverobber Blige (3000 souls each).
- Chunk of Cloudstone – 4-3 Flying Mantas.
- 4-3 Treasure on dead body near Stormruler.
- Pure Cloudstone – 4-3 Storm King Archstone.

You will probably have to grind chunks the treasure and drops will probably not cut it. Luckily there is a massive amount of mantas in 4-3 you can easily grind there here using the arrows to pick them off while in the building using the Storm King. You will get insane shards this way too so you will probably not have to buy them but you can if you have too. You get the pure from the boss so you do not have to worry about that after grinding chunks you should be fine to go. You need a shield up to +3, then you can raise it to +5 with cloudstones.

Example Weapons – Knight Shield, Purple Flame Shield, and Heater.

Phalanx’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Phalanx”.

Phalanx is the final boss of 1-1, the first area of the first world “Boletarian Palace”. It is a large blob of slime that can throw spears that is covered in many of the mini-phalanx to guard it from harm which also throw spears. These mini-phalanx are just like the ones earlier in the level, they block frontal attacks so hit them with magic/fire or hit them from behind they are slow.

Strategy -

* Don’t Use Thief’s Ring *

Your first time you get to this boss he hits pretty hard, the best way to take him out is to throw all of those fire bombs at him that you collected during the level. Once a large portion of the mini-phalanxs are dead you can easily walk up and start wailing on him with anything you use. Magic also works wonders on this boss but the area of effect of the fire bombs is more practical. Remember to stay behind pillars let him come to you, if you charge out you are asking for 5 spears in the chest.

I would suggest wearing the Cling Ring your first time fighting this boss, and using my firebomb strategy.

After your 1st time, this boss just gets easier although fire bombs become weaker. Now all you need is a magic enchanted weapon or some powerful spells and you should have at least one of these by now. Take out any of the strays from behind otherwise use the previous strategy but now you can slice or blast him apart with weapons and spells.

Tower Knight’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Tower Knight”.

Tower Knight is the final boss of 1-2, the second area of the first world “Boletarian Palace”. It is a building-sized armored knight with a massive tower shield and an equally large lance. When you are up on the walls there is only one move he will do to you which is pulling away his shield and throwing energy from his lance at you, which is easily exploited by the strategy below.

Strategy -

* Don’t Use Thief’s Ring *

Another very simple boss to dispatch with ranged combat, first thing first when it starts immediately run up onto the walls to avoid being smashed, impaled, or shot. You are pretty much safe up here as long as you stay away from the edges, now go around and kill all of the archers.

After that is done all you have to do is go near the edge, and when he begins moving his shield to throw a spear at you fire an arrow or magic at his head or body (you can lock onto him). After you fire immediately roll backwards or duck behind a wall as to not get hit. Rise and repeat this until he dies, it may take a couple tries to get the timing down to where you hit him every time.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

Penetrator’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Penetrator”.

Tower Knight is the final boss of 1-3, the third area of the first world “Boletarian Palace”. He is a warrior in black armor with a very long sword in which he makes many devastating thrusting attacks with. If you follow the strategy bellow he should never even attempt to attack you let alone cause you any harm or challenge.

- Strategy

* Use Thief’s Ring *

The easiest way to dispatch this boss is to make sure you save your helper “Biorr” in this fight. Save Boirr from the prison at the very end of 1-2 right before the tower knight boss it will be the locked door, you will have to first get the key from the first of the fat ministers (on top of the castle walls) in 1-3 tho. This is also how you free the witch Yuria that you need for some good spells so you should be doing this anyhow, although for her you will need the hat from the second fat minister (behind the gate) in 1-3 as well.

Now that you saved you buddy Biorr, equip your Thief’s Ring and go fight the boss with whatever ranged combat you prefer. The boss will charge Biorr and wail on him constantly since he is an aggressive crazy man, while they are ducking it out pummel the Penetrator from behind (yes i know how this sounds) with arrows or magic. He should go down very fast and probably never even look at you. If he does happen to turn away just run, your partner with quickly take him back so you can assault him again.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

Adjudicator’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Adjudicator”.

Adjucator is the final boss of 4-1, the first area of the fourth world “Shrine of Storms”. He is a large and fat boss, he uses his tongue as well as his huge sword to try to kill you but if you follow the below strategy he is easily killed with melee without risking yourself to damage.

There is a secret way to get to the Adjucator faster than usual, if you begin the level once you arrive at the castle gates climb on top where there are the two archers side-by-side. After killing the nearby skeleton and passing them you will be on the tower opposite the one you climbed up, now run from the corner you can stand in and roll over the edge of the wall facing the side you entered. This may take a couple tries but when you make it over all you have to do is follow the path, then go through the doorway under the stairs and you will find a staircase going down with a double katana skeleton guarding it. If you defeat this skeleton there with be nothing in your way between you and the Adjucator besides the fog gate.

Strategy -

* Don’t Use Thief’s Ring *

Another very easy boss and a melee one at that! I would suggest using your biggest damage weapons two handed against him since he cannot really do anything to you. When you first enter quickly descend the stairs as fast as you can to get behind him where you cannot be hit. After you get down with the behemoth start swinging at his weak side (with the butchers cleaver stuck in him). This will squirt out blood but not damage him, until he suddenly will fall over when you have done enough damage. When he falls his head with a little birdie is exposed, wail on that bird as much as you can anyway that you want until he stands back up or dies then repeat. Now how you dodge his only attack he will do to you down here, he will laugh a little “hehehe” creepy thing this is the signal to run to his swinging arm and roll. If you do this there is no way his swing will hit you, it is actually very simple to time and makes it a very easy boss to fight.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

Old Hero’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Old Hero”.

Old Hero is the final boss of 4-2, the second area of the fourth world “Shrine of Storms”. He is large blind warrior with a big curved blade, the large sword of searching that I will talk about in the guide elsewhere. This boss battle is neat although simple follow the strategy bellow and you will easily defeat this boss without any trouble from him crazy antics.

Strategy -

* Use Thief’s Ring *

Yet again another simple easy boss in world 4, this boss although simple and easy is very cool. He is blind and cannot see anything you do if you are wearing your Thief’s Ring so just plug him with an arrow or spell, then wait for him to yell repeat until he dies. Make sure you stay behind the pillars where you cannot be hit just in case he gets a lucky swing off on you or you didn’t wait for his yell and he jumps at you. I assume you could do this stabbing him in the back with melee too but I think ranged is a MUCH safer route to go with. Poison also is effective.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

Fool’s Idol’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Fool’s Idol”.

Fool’s Idol is the final boss of 3-1, the first area of the third world “Tower of Latria”. She is a magician who uses traps, resurrection, and clones of herself to trick you into giving herself a chance to kill you with her simple soul arrow spell, although if you follow the strategy below you shouldn’t fall for her simple tricks.

Strategy -

* Use Thief’s Ring *

First of all, KILL THE SUMMONER! There is an old punk on the right pathway up top, you reach this by going up the spiral stairs on the right. He will say he is not going to interfere but after you kill the boss he brings it back to like the first time I did this fight I had to kill her twice. He is right next to the key that you use to free the mage you learn spells from.

To fight this boss I would suggest ranged combat again. Have your Thief’s Ring on and after clearing out the worthless goons prepare for battle! This battle consists of lots of hiding, hide behind the leftmost pillar close to the door and peek out to your right. When you peek out fire off a 2 arrows at her, if it is her continue firing 2 more otherwise stop. If it was her she will relocate herself and the clones if not move onto the next one and do the same thing. The entire time you want to stay behind the pillars if you get to far away from them move onto the next pillar but after she relocates move back to the safe pillar i suggested before. If you repeat this process you should easily kill this boss without any trouble.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

Maneater’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Maneater”.

Maneater is the final boss of 3-2, the second area of the third world “Tower of Latria”. There are two of this boss, the first one can be dispatched before even entering the fog gate as described below but the second one you much enter to engage. Following the strategy below you should have problem defeating both of the Maneater which can otherwise be a very aggravating boss.

Strategy -

* Don’t Use Thief’s Ring *

This boss can be a huge pain but if you follow my strategy he will haunt you no more. First of all you want to have a strong bow and if your melee a strong spear too with a long thrust, or possibly even a nice aoe spell if your a mage.

To start the fight DO NOT enter the fog, move to the leftmost corner of the fog pushing against it. Now pull out the bow I told you to bring and pluck away at this boss and what do you know you CAN hit it through the fog. Take it down to just 1 shot of life lest (1-3 is ok too) then enter and when he charges you put one shot into his chest (always wanted to one shot a boss eh?).

Now for the 2nd Maneater, he will immediately descend on you so run to the huge brazier in the center as fast as you can. Line yourself up with him so that it is in between you and him, the brazier’s base is square shaped so it may take him some time but eventually he will find a nice spot where he gets stuck and wont move. Then you can pluck away at his head and/or shoulder over the brazier with arrows. You can also stab through the brazier with a long thrusting spear but it is more dangerous, you may even be able to destroy him with some big aoe spells if you nail the brazier with them.

The most important part about this is to make sure once he is stuck in place to not move, and if you do not to use a spear only move forward and backwards so he stays stuck.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

Leechmonger’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Leechmonger”.

Leechmonger is the final boss of 5-1, the first area of the fifth world “Valley of Defilement”. This boss is easily killed with a bow and arrow if you follow the simplistic strategy described bellow.

Strategy -

* Don’t Use Thief’s Ring *

This is another super simple boss fight. Walk through the fog gate and pull out your bow of destruction, now fire away. Seriously this is ALL you do, you

just shoot it until it dies it will try to regenerate so just make sure you aim high enough to hit it while it is doing this. The gross blobness that appears under it while it is regenerating doesn’t count and doesn’t hurt it so watch out for this. Otherwise just sit back relax and fire off a barrage of arrows until it dies.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

Dirty Colossus’ Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Dirty Colossus”.

Dirty Colossus is the final boss of 5-2, the second area of the fifth world “Valley of Defilement”. Another easily killed boss with a bow and arrow, preferable a sticky one made with spider stones for the range. Follow the strategy below to easily take out this boss and save yourself from an annoying struggle against this colossus.

Strategy -

* Use Thief’s Ring *

Similar to the previous boss you just pummel this guy with arrows. Although differently, you must pop him with an arrow then hide behind the wall to your left as you enter (it hangs over enough to block all incoming projectiles). After the sludge stops flying at you pee out and pop off another arrow then hide again. All you have to do is continue doing this until it dies it will not do anything else differently and it will not regenerate so there is nothing to worry about.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

Armor Spider’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Armor Spider”.

Armor Spider is the final boss of 2-1, the first area of the second world “Stonefang Tunnel”. It is a giant armored spider that appears at the end of a tunnel, it will shoot fireballs and webs at you from a distance and if you get up close it can be very devastating. If you follow the strategy below you should be able to beat this annoying boss very easily and gain your trophy.

Strategy -

* Use Thief’s Ring *

Another ranged exclusive fight, attempting this as melee would be difficult. In this guide we want “super easy” so instead we are going to hide in the back on the right behind some rocks with our Thief’s Ring. Whenever he stops attacking usually only attacks once maybe twice pop out and hit him with an arrow or spell, then pull out a shield to block any webs he shoots at you. Rinse and repeat this and he will die an easy death without much trouble at all on your part. Remember to pull up your shield if you are at risk of dying his webs do not hit hard but they do hurt you.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage, although if you do not use a shield with 100% physical damage reduction you will take very slight damage from the blocked webs so be warned.

Flamelurker’s Trophy – Bronze Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Flamelurker”.

Flamelurker is the final boss of 2-2, the second area of the second world “Stonefang Tunnel”. It is a large fiery demon capable of dealing large amounts of damage, while still being very agile including a hop to the left or right and a running charge or jump attack. If you follow the strategy below and are careful you can easily take out the flamelurker on your first attempt.

Strategy -

* Use Thief’s Ring *

This is a boss that can trick you, so pulling out all your punches for damage can help take him down without a problem. This is most easily down with arrows but can also be done with magic or maybe even a long range spear thrust, when you enter get him to charge you and then run behind him. You should use the Thief’s Ring but it is probably not necessary sometimes he will get distracted and get even more stuck into the bones if you use it.

There is a ribcage directly to your left that you can hide behind, he will get stuck on this while charging at you and you can shoot him all you want. You can actually get him stuck on either side of this so if he manages to get around it just switch sides and continue. He will do a hop to the left and right sometimes when he gets stuck this is when you should switch sides if he comes at you otherwise try to get him to stay in by moving right or left.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

False King’s Trophy – Silver Trophy

Slayer of Demon “False King”.

False King is the final boss of 1-4, the fourth and final area of the first world “Boletarian Palace”. If you follow either of the two strategies listed below you should have no troubles in defeating this boss without being touched, or even looked at for that matter.

Strategy -

* Use Thief’s Ring *

The first step of this is to make sure you have the spell poison cloud equipped. Maybe the simplest of all the bosses to cheaply kill, equip the thief’s ring and when you enter the room move to your right and duck behind the wall. After he walks near you then turns around, slowly walk up the stairs when you reach the top use poison cloud on him then slowly retreat to your safe spot. This will take a decent amount of time but risks no damage to you so it is very easily done, just rinse and repeat the process.

* Requires Poison Cloud spell.

If you are struggling with this strategy there are more here Boss Guide!

Storm King’s Trophy – Silver Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Storm King”.

Storm King is the final boss of 4-3, the third and final area of the fourth world “Shrine of Storms”. The Storm King is a massive manta ray boss that will descend and being attacking you after you have killed many of his much smaller brothers below, which makes this fight in 2 parts. If you follow the strategy written bellow you should have no problem taking out this massive king of the sky.

Strategy -

* Use Thief’s Ring *

Another cool but easy boss, apparently this is all world 4 is about… well and skeletons i guess. Now if this is your first time fighting him and you do not have the storm sword from here first thing I would do is just run all the way and pick it up and then run to the destroyed building. Now start popping mantas that fly overhead with arrows or spells to do this wait until they fire, then roll to dodge and immediately shoot at them when you stand and you will almost always hit them. Eventually after taking out enough of them the storm king will descend firing entire volleys of barbs at you while you can hide in a building.

When he comes straight at you stand in the upper right corner from the cliff-face, then back up and two hand the storm sword and slash him twice. When he comes from the side leave the building and stand on the other side of the wall you were just hiding at, after he passes slash him with two more two handed storm king hits. Repeat this a couple of times and he will eventually die, you can also do this with arrows but I think the storm king is more fun and simpler.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage but be warned killing the mantas you could die, but the boss is easy to not get hit.

Old Monk’s Trophy – Silver Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Old Monk”.

Old Monk is the final boss of 3-3, the third and final area of the third world “Tower of Latria”. The Old Monk is one of the few bosses where ranged attacks do not work well on, if you follow the melee strategy listen below even a mage or archer can easily take down this old fool.

Strategy -

* Don’t Use Thief’s Ring *

One of the few bosses that I suggest melee against, he descends on you so fast it is really hard to safely dispatch him with ranged. Lucky for us all he is a pushover and if you hit him with any weapon from a small sword to a huge axe he will get knocked back even more so with large weapons. If you continue doing this you will kill him very fast with little risk. Although to be safe I would have a good shield in your offhand so that you can block if need be.

Halfway through the fight he will start using moving soul arrow on you, which is an easy to dodge spell but very strong (when is depending on how fast you hurt him). To dodge it whenever you see the yellow balls surround him back up as much as possible, as soon as they move roll to the right or left and you should easily dodge them.

As much as it is risky, this boss is very easy to get too so i suggest using the Clever Rat Ring/Morion’s Blade at 30% health if you have them. If you use a big weapon two handed you can kill him very very fast maybe before he even gets a chance to use the spell. A safer way would be to use the Clever Rat’s Ring and the Blueblood Sword with light weapon on it but it requires that specific sword. This is safer because it causes move damage and you can still use a shield with it for protection.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here although use it at your own risk you can easily take damage but if you have a good shield and a powerful weapon you should be able to finish this fight fast.

Maiden Astraea’s Trophy – Silver Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Maiden Astraea”.

Maiden Astraea is the final boss of 5-3, the third and final area of the fifth world “Valley of Defilement”. Yet again another very easy to arrow boss in the 5th world, probably even the easiest since there is not even a chance of getting attacked even if you make a mistake, unless you jump off the ledge haha.

Follow the simple strategy listed below to end the maiden once and for all.

Strategy -

* Use Thief’s Ring *

Again a arrow target is on this bosses face. When you walk in through the fog gate follow the winding path to your right and kill some praying fools until you reach the edge. Look down and you should be able to see the maiden and her super steel bodyguard, now aim carefully at her so that you will hit her. Then what do you know just keep shooting arrows at her non-stop and she will die. She will regenerate life so you must continue shooting her otherwise she will heal all her life back, just like the Leechmonger just gotta find the right spot and keep shooting.

After she is dead, go to options and click load game and load this file. It will reload and everything will be the same but her bodyguard will be dead and you will be able to loot his corpse of his shield and armor then go and get the maiden’s soul.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health works great here since there is no risk of taking damage.

Dragon God’s Trophy – Silver Trophy

Slayer of Demon “Dragon God”.

Dragon God is the final boss of 2-3, the third and final area of the second world “Stonefang Tunnel”. It is a massive dragon-like creature, you are smaller than one of his fingers to put your size into scale with his. Although his massive proportions make him cool and scary this boss fight is far from being described the same way, it is staged for the most part and requires only a small amount of interaction. Use the strategy below to send this Dragon God to the fiery depths and gain your trophy.

Strategy -

* Use Thief’s Ring *

This is a very restrictive boss fight if it can even be considered a fight, it is more of an interactive movie. All you have to do is destroy the debris that is on the path while hiding behind pillars so that he cannot punch you. This is more easily done with spells so you do not have to leave your safety and arrows do not destroy the debris, although using a extra large weapon you can usually break the debis in one swing to get by faster. After a bit of doing this you will reach a spear gun and shoot him. Now you go down some stairs and repeat the exact same process as before except now he breathes fire, fortunately this doesn’t change the strategy at all.

Finally you will arrive a the second spear gun in which you shoot him again and then he falls down with his head on the platform. Now run closer to his head and blast it with whatever spells/bows you have on you to kill it from a distance without any chance of being hurt by him.

* Clever Rat’s Ring / Morion’s Blade at 30% health is ok here since there is no risk of taking damage, he kills you in one hit so it doesn’t really matter although your damage doesn’t matter either.

World Uniter’s Trophy – Gold Trophy

Old One Put to Sleep & World United.

To gain this trophy you must have completed the rest of the story bosses in the game, if you have done so and defeated the False King in 1-4 then when you talk to “The Maiden in Black” instead of allowing you to gain levels you can go to the end of the game. Now before you do this make sure there is nothing left you want to do because you will start new game plus after this is over.

When you are ready talk to her and you will jump into the large hold, when you arrive on the beach climb into the large hole/mouth and begin cutting through the branches until you get to the fog gate. Now for the pointless boss battle, this boss will move super slow it is mainly just for story so dodge the slow moving attacks and kill it however fast or slow you want it will just stand there then swing randomly. After you win, the maiden in black will begin putting the old one to sleep for the trophy just turn around and leave, note if you kill her you will not get the trophy instead you will get more souls and the evil ending so make sure you just leave instead of harming her.

Sage’s Trophy – Gold Trophy

All Spells Learned.

There are a few things you need to know about collecting all the spells, first of all many of them require them same souls or souls used in weapon making so it requires at the least 3 1/2 playthroughs to collect all that is necessary to get the collection trophies.

Now you also need to know that there are 2 Spell Teachers you have to rescue that teach you all the Demon Soul requiring spells.

- Freke – 3-1 – You will find Freke while exploring 3-1, he is locked in a cell and asks you to help free him. The key to let Freke out of his cell is hidden behind the summoner before the final boss of 3-1. After you let him out of his cell you will find him in the Nexus willing to teach you spells for Demon’s Souls.

- Yuria – 1-4 – You will find Yuria in a tower behind a locked door directly ahead of you when you go into 1-3, kill the dogs and keep walking straight and you will see it. Now letting her out is more complicated, progress through the level and you will run into a fat minister up on the wall kill him and take his keys. Don’t run there yet these aren’t the right keys yet, now keep going until you get behind the gate that closed in your face where there is another fat minister. Kill him and take his hat, now head back to the room before the Tower Knight in 1-2, to your right while walking in there is a locked door enter it (If your using my Penetrator strategy you should be doing this already). When you get down to the lower level you will find both Biorr in a trapped cell and a fat minister, kill the fat minister and take his keys and then let out Biorr. Now finally head to Yuria, when you get through the door and climb the tower equip the minister’s hat and the other one will lower the stairs for you when he does kill him. When done take off the hat and talk to Yuria to rescue her from her prison and find her in the Nexus afterwords.

Now that you should have the 2 spell teachers, here is a list of all the spells in the game that you can use as a checklist it has their name, how you acquire the spell, and who you acquire it from:

- Soul Arrow – 1000 Souls from any Spell Teacher

Saint’s Trophy – Gold Trophy

All Miracles Learned.

There are a few things you need to know about collecting all the miracles, first of all many of them require them same souls as spells or souls used in weapon making so it requires at the least 3 1/2 playthroughs to collect all that is necessary to get the collection trophies.

You also will need to resuce the man who teaches you these miracles, his name is Saint Urbain and is very easy to rescue. While playing 4-2 if you go in the back room after killing the first reaper you will get kicked into a hole by Patches. While in this hole talk to Saint Urbain after killing the black phantom door guard. After this you will find him in your Nexus willing to teach you all of the miracles in the game for Demon’s Souls.

Here is a list of all of the Miracles in the game and how you obtain them:

- Heal – 5000 Souls from any Miracle Teacher
- Regeneration – Swollen Demon’s Soul (Adjucator) from Urbain
- Recovery – 3 Colorless Demon’s Souls and 1 dead Primeval Demon from Urbain*
- Second Chance – Hero Demon’s Soul (Old Hero) form Urbain
- Resurrection – Pureblood Demon’s Soul (Saint Astraea) from Urbain
- Antidote – 3000 Souls form any Miracle Teacher
- Cure – Wriggling Demon’s Soul (Leechmonger) from Urbain
- Evacuation – 20,000 Souls from any Miracle Teacher
- Hidden Soul – 3000 Souls from any Miracle Teacher
- Banish – Yellow Demon’s Soul (Old Monk) from Urbain
- Anti-Magic Field – Storm Demon’s Soul (Storm King) from Urbain
- God’s Wrath – Dragon Demon’s Soul (Dragon God) form Urbain

* For Recovery you must kill a Primeval Demon before the spell becomes available from Urbain, this is very simple and if you follow the strategy to get the friend’s and foe’s rings you will kill 5 of them and most of the time they each drop a Colorless Demon’s Soul (CDS). If you don’t get enough you get 2 CDS for assassination quests from Mephistophiles killing Patches and Biorr, you find one CDS in the tower in 1-1 with Miralda that requires pure white world tendency, and you can get 2 CDS from trading a gold mask and a talisman of god to the crow once per playthrough.

Rogue’s Trophy – Gold Trophy

All Rings Obtained.

There are many rings through the game some of them found in normal, pure white, or pure black world tendency. There are also 2 rings that require pure white character tendency and pure black character tendency. This list below explains where and how to get all of the rings in the game that you can use as a checklist.

- Ring of Great Strength – 1-1, Under the Blue Dragon’s tail swinging back and forth at the dragon nest, you can either try to kill yourself for it or wait until you kill the dragon in 1-4 before the final boss. Also Biorr drops it when he dies or is assassinated for the Mephistophiles quest.**

- Ring of Herculea Strength – You must give the Jade Hair Ornament to Thomas (Storage Guy) in the Nexus, to get it in 1-1 while going down the first tower to open the shortcut on your way to the Cling Ring. There will be a exit halfway down and it looks like an empty balcony, but cut the chains and go out the bottom past the cling ring and there will be a corpse with a set of female armor and this item.

- Tendency Guide -

Because tendency can be complicated and confuse people, I know it confused me at first, I will show you here how to get both pure white world, pure black world, pure white character, and pure black character tendency.

- Pure Black World Tendency – This is simple use 7 Ephemeral Eye Stones and then kill yourself afterwords, this might not always take 7 but 7 will always do the trick. It depends on what your world tendency already is. In pure black you can find both the primeval demons and the black phantom NPCs needed for pure white character tendency.

* Primeval Demon and Black Phantom NPC Location in Pure White Character Tendency.

* In pure black enemies are tougher but give more souls and better drops.

- Pure White World Tendency – You could get this just by killing all the bosses for a couple playthroughs and never dying there in body form but this is a fantastic and important shortcut. First of all for this shortcut you must have 1 boss left alive, and you cannot have killed the primeval demon or black phantom npc yet. Get to pure black with the 7 stones as suggested above, now go and kill the primeval demon and the black phantom npc without leaving the world but you can die. I suggest doing the black phantom npc yet since they are hard and the demons don’t fight. After this you will be near pure white and all you have to do is kill a boss to become pure white.

* Primeval Demon and Black Phantom NPC Location in Pure White Character Tendency.

* In pure white enemies are easier but give less souls and worse drops.

- Pure Black Character Tendency – For how much of a pain Pure White is Pure Black is easy to do! All you have to do is kill 4-5 NPCs, they can be ones in town or in levels I suggest killing ones in levels since they are easy and you don’t need them at all. Here is a few of them for you to go and kill when your ready. I would do this after pure white character tendency, to do the Mephistophiles quests. You can also raise this by invading other players games and killing them as a black phantom.

Harmless NPCs -

- Dregling – (1-1, 1-2, 1-3)
- Filthy Man – (2-1, 2-2)
- Once Royal Mistress – (3-1)
- Graverobber Blige – (4-1, 4-2)
- Filthy Woman – (5-1, 5-2)

- Pure White Character Tendency – This process can be a pain in the butt since there is only one offline way to improve it. The online way is to kill players who invade your game but I will show you the offline way. Now it is fairly simple if you understand the Pure White World Tendency Shortcut, because all you have to do is this in all 5 worlds. You do not NEED to kill the primeval demons for this, to raise your tendency all you need to do is kill the special black phantom NPC in each world but you might as well do the easy one since you have to do the hard one. Here is a list of the locations of the NPCs and Primeval Demons.

Black Phantom NPCs -

- Miralda – 1-1 – She is the easiest to find and fairly easy to fight. At the start of the level to the left there is a gate that will be gone at pure white/black go through it and go into the tower, she will attack you right away so be prepared fight safely and you will kill her.
- Scirvir – 2-2 – Turn right as you start the level and kill your way through the miners, then drops down a couple levels until you run into the cave where there are 2 crystal geckos and him inside. He will blast you with tons of spells and has lots of life. Use ‘anti-magic field’ spell and keep him from healing himself chunks of life white playing it safe.
- Rydell – 3-1 – He is in the same place as always, except now he is outside of his cell and when you come near him he will attack you. You can cheese him with a hit and run strategy fairly easily by using arrows or spells.
- Satsuki – 4-1 – He is at the very start of the level there is nowhere else to go but forward to fight him. He will be a pain in the butt because he can heal full life at any time below half, just make sure you play safe and whenever he starts doing the heal spell nail him with a combo he has a small health bar he is yours.
- Selen – 5-2 – Another one that is cheeseable, when you go through the fog gate up the ramp into the 2nd part of the swamp kill the few enemies ahead but don’t jump off. Look to your right and you will see her out on an island, you can use a bow to just blast her over and over again. She can heal so this may take some time but she does have a limited supply of mana, just watch out if you melee her the sword she uses ‘blind’ goes through shields.

Primeval Demons -

- 1-3, Just go through the big gate you have to open and you should find it in a location over looking the 3 Red Eyes Knights up on the castle walls.
- 2-1, in the first building you enter there is a moving platform to your right, hit the lever to start it and go down to kill the demon.
- 3-2, At the bottom of the swamp, where you go the Disease Resistance Ring across a wooden platform onto a ledge.
- 4-2, In the area behind the Dual Katana Skeleton in the hidden passage where you get the white bow, be careful of mantas they can hit hard on pure black.
- 5-2, In the swamp before the fog gate that leads through the structures to the boss, it is to the left of the tons of giant and black phantom giants.
