INTRODUÇÃO

inFAMOUS returns with a stand alone DLC to Second Son in the same vein as Festival of Blood. The game delivers a brief but enjoyable story following Fetch’s life before being caught by the DUP and adds a few new twists. The most notable for trophy hunters is that unlike Festival of Blood, First Light has a Platinum trophy. Also, making their first appearance in an inFAMOUS game is a series of challenge arenas, which depending on your skill, and possibly luck, may double the length of the game. Challenges make a return and while most will come naturally some may require a bit of grinding.

PASSO A PASSO

Step One- Story Mode

Play through and enjoy the story, netting the four hidden trophies. Since there are no difficulty related trophies you can play on Easy for a quicker run. Upgrade Fetch’s abilities as you earn Skill Points to make combat even easier. You may choose to pick up the collectibles during this step as you gain access to them to help upgrade Fetch more quickly.

Trophies Earned:
 Lost
 Cracked
 Betrayed
 She’s Ready

Step Two- Collectibles

If you did not pick up the collectibles during Step One, now is the time to do so. The extra Skill Points earned will help you on your way through the Arenas. I recommend completing the races and Graffiti first and using those Skill Points to fully upgrade your Light Speed ability. The maxed out ability will help you greatly in collecting the Lumens. Finally, shoot down the Police Drones to wrap up the collectibles. Continue upgrading abilities as you earn points. After maxing out Light Speed you may like to save up for the Homing Missiles, as when they are maxed out they can make the Arenas much easier

Trophies Earned:
 Illuminated
 Blackout
 Lickety Pronto
 That’s So Fetch

Step Three- Arenas

Play through the five required challenge arenas, Alpha Rescue and Survival, Beta Survival and Rescue and Gamma Survival. Focus on reaching 500,000 points in each, keeping in mind that you need to beat Wave 30 on both Beta and Gamma Survival (don’t suicide after reaching the point goal or you’ll need to do another run). The Delsin Arenas are not required and not recommended for high score or 30 Wave runs as they are much tougher to complete. Don’t worry about completing challenges during this step as the vast majority will come naturally.

Trophies Earned:
 Alpha Rescue Diamond
 Alpha Survival Diamond
 Beta Rescue Diamond
 Beta Survival Diamond
 Gamma Survival Diamond

Step Four- Challenges/ Clean Up

You will have most of the challenges completed after earning the Diamond trophies and now is the time to wrap up the stragglers. You’ll likely still need to work towards a total of 10 million points across all arenas runs and defeating 50 enemies with the Super Bolt. You can check your Challenge progress at anytime by pressing Options, then using / to get to the Challenges page and use the right stick to scroll through the list. Keep in mind that there are 60 Global Challenges, but also another 36 tied to Free Roam and Challenge Arenas as well. Continue upgrading skills as you go and after completing all challenges you will be able to purchase the final upgrade.

You should also have all of the miscellaneous trophies at this point, but if you’re missing any now is the time to get them.

Note: some of these will likely be earned before this step.

GUIA DE TROFÉUS

 Noble Achievement
Collect all Trophies

As with all Platinums, earn all other trophies to unlock this.

 Illuminated
Collect all Neon Lumens

Neon Lumens are First Light’s version of Blast Shards and there are 72 scattered across the city. They are all found in the air and some will require a bit of thought to reach. Fully upgrading the Light Speed ability will greatly help in reaching all Lumens and as such it is recommended to complete either the Lumen Races or Neon Graffiti (or both) to quickly earn enough skill points to purchase the upgrades.

The best general strategy is to find a tall building near the Lumen and use Photon Jump off its highest point (preferably going through a Neon Gas Cloud in the process) and using a combination of Air Dash and hover to reach the Lumen. None of the Lumens are particularly hard to reach once you find a suitable launch point.

 Blackout
Destroy all Police Drones

During the Surveillance Blackout mission Jenny will upgrade your phone granting you access to finding and shooting down Police Drones. These seven missions are a cross between shooting blast shard drones and the camera missions in Second Son. The drones will not be marked on the map, instead you need to use their cameras to figure out their location. They all follow a preset path in a marked area so you just need to watch the video footage until you see a landmark you recognize and can find in the area and either chase it down or wait for it to circle back.

 Lickety Pronto
Complete all Lumen Races

There are seventeen Lumen Races available, which are similar to the DUP Secret Agent missions in Second Son. Instead of chasing a DUP agent you will follow a moving Neon Lumen across the city. The races are not very difficult and you will likely complete most on your first attempt. Use Light Speed and run through Neon Gas Clouds to keep up with and overtake the Lumen. If you fail the race you need to return to the start to attempt it again.

 That’s So Fetch
Complete all Neon Graffiti

Much like Delsin, Fetch shares an affinity for street art. Just as in Second Son, approach a graffiti trigger, aim with the DS4 and press  to “paint” your picture. Complete all seven tags for one of the games easiest trophies.

 Unleashed
Purchase every Upgrade

Fetch has 8 skills with 34 total upgrades available. Upgrades are purchased with skill points which are earned in a variety of ways, such as completing races and collecting Lumens, but a large portion of your points will come from completing the challenges. There are only enough Skill Points available as are needed to purchase the upgrades which means you will need to complete everything else in the game before you can make the final purchase. It also means this will likely be your last trophy before you unlock the Platinum.

I recommend upgrading Light Speed first to help reach all Lumens and unlock additional Skill Points early on. It is also important to upgrade the Homing Missiles before you tackle the Diamond trophies for the arenas as having maxed out missiles will make getting through them much easier.

 Perfectionist
Complete all of the Challenges in the Game

There are 96 total challenges in the game. 60 Global challenges (which can be completed anywhere), 3 which must be done in Free Roam, 5 in Alpha Rescue, 5 in Alpha Survival, 10 in Beta Survival, 5 in Beta Rescue and 8 in Gamma Survival. You will complete most of these challenges naturally and as such it is best to wait until you have completed both the story and scoring 500,000 points in each arena before you focus solely on completing challenges.

The most noteworthy challenges are Light ‘Em Up!, Top of the Class, Sting Like a Bee and Champion (found in Beta and Gamma Survival). The first two challenges will require some grinding. Light ‘Em Up! is completed by defeating 50 enemies with the Super Bolt, which is a blue power up dropped by drones in the Survival arenas. A good strategy for grinding this one is to leave the power up where it falls (it will stay there until used) and waiting for the arena to fill up with a few waves before using it. Alternatively you could just use it immediately on whoever is there and hope to get another one.

Top of the Class is completed by earning a combined score of 10 million points in the arenas. The total is cumulative across all arenas and modes, so it doesn’t need to earned in one run. Keeping the pressure on enemies will get you a good multiplier and if you can get a good run with the 50 multiplier you can rack up points very quickly. I’m not particularly good at the arenas and was still able to get 4 million+ in a 20 minute run.

Sting Like a Bee is for hitting five weakpoints before the Focus Timer expires, kills are not required. This seems to be a worrisome challenge for some, but you should have no trouble getting it in the arenas. Upgrading Laser Focus with Weak Point Recharge will refill half of the Focus Meter with each successful weakpoint hit. Couple that by upgrading Stasis Blast with Extended Bubble and you can easily get this in later waves of Survival or Rescue by hitting a large group of enemies with Stasis and then shooting their glowing weakpoints.

The Champion challenges are worth mentioning because people may want to just let the enemies kill them once they hit the 500,000 points needed for the trophies. Unless you kept a low multiplier the entire time it is unlikely you completed 30 waves so you’ll need to continue. If you’re struggling to finish 30 waves you may want to try to get through using simple hit ‘n run. Fire off you Homing Missiles until empty, use Light Speed to get to a safe Neon source to refill your ammo and start firing again. Anytime your health gets low you should get away from the action and recharge your health, either by hiding or draining Neon.

 Gamma Survival Diamond
Achieve a score of 500,000 points

The Diamond trophies require you to score at least 500,000 points in one run and may seem daunting to some at first, but with a bit of patience and good strategy 500k is easy to achieve. Both game modes follow the same basic premise, you face wave after unending wave of enemies until you die. You will fight the DUP in both modes while Survival also throws demons into the mix. The twist for Rescue is you will need to periodically save a hostage and letting five die will end your run.

Survival is the easiest to break 500k in as you only have to worry about fighting and dying, with no additional distractions. Spamming Homing Missiles works surprisingly well for these challenges and it is recommended to have them maxed out before attempting to break 500k. By simply launching out four bursts of fully upgraded missiles and refilling your ammo by draining Neon you can make short work of groups of enemies. Another good tactic is using fully upgraded melee. It comes with a higher risk, but with Mega Finisher you can take out large groups of enemies with one kick. Don’t underestimate the value of overloading a turret or Enslaving enemies. Not only will they stop firing on you, they will fight on your side for a brief time.

You should try to keep your multiplier as high as possible. Whenever you see your multiplier start to flash red it’s about to decrease so try to get another kill before it does. Be on the lookout for drones flying over head and shoot them down if you have the shot. One of the possible drops is a Multiplier Booster which doubles your current multiplier. If you’re already maxed out and pick one of these up you can reach a x100 multiplier. With a high multiplier and a large group of enemies a Neon Singularity can rack up a massive amount of points.

It’s also important to know the layout of each arena. Knowing where Neon can be drained and where you have cover is paramount to surviving. Finally, and most importantly, know when to make a strategic retreat. When your screen turns black and white you’re about to die. Run to cover and let your health refill or drain Neon to both top off your health and refill your missile ammo.

All of the above also applies to Rescue missions with an important difference. Keeping yourself alive will be the easy part, the hard part will be keeping the hostages alive. As soon as a hostage spawns in make your way to them and save them. This will become more and more difficult as the waves progress so it’s important to get off to a good start. If you lose a hostage in the first few waves you may want to restart rather than carry on with a handicap. You are allowed five hostage deaths and need 500,000 points so you want to shoot for at least 100,000 between each hostage death.

The main combat difference with Rescue is that you will want to make good use of Stasis and having it maxed will help a great deal. Hitting the attacking enemies will give you time to take them out. Hitting the hostage with Stasis will protect them against enemy fire giving you an even better chance to save them. Be careful not to hit a hostage with stasis near a ledge as it’s easy to knock them off and cost yourself a save.

 Turret Syndrome
Overload 25 Turrets

This is required as a Beta Survival Arena Challenge. Periodically during the waves there will be a Turret that spawns in with the other enemies and will be shown on your mini-map if close enough. Simply make your way behind 25 Turrets, press  to overload it and have it fight on your side. This may take some grinding as after I completed 30 waves I only had 12 overloads.

 Great Responsibility
50 Hostage Saves

While playing Rescue missions in the challenge arenas hostages will periodically spawn in. They will be covered by two or three enemies who will begin shooting the hostage when you get close enough. You need to defeat the enemies before they kill they hostage. Saving 50 across all Rescue runs will net the trophy.

 Top of the Class
Earn a total of 10,000,000 points

Cumulative across all arenas and modes, simply score 10 million total points. The five Diamond trophies will get you a quarter of the way there by themselves. To speed up your progress a bit you should play aggressively to get the highest multiplier you can. You’ll get there faster by playing 10 or 15 waves at a x50 multiplier than you will by playing 30 waves at only x5 or x10. Spam your Homing Missiles and race to refill your ammo at a Neon Source before launching another attack. Also be on the lookout for the flying drones as they may drop a multiplier bonus to further increase your multiplier.

 Event Horizon
Defeat 100 Enemies with a Neon Singularity

To launch this devastating attack you must first build up your meter by defeating enemies through normal means. Kills with melee, Neon Bolts, Homing Missiles all fill the meter. Once full you launch the attack by hitting , sucking up all enemies in it’s range before detonating. This will come naturally, almost certainly before completing the story and if not you will absolutely get it while completing the arenas. This trophy is for 100 total enemies killed with Singularities, not 100 in one shot.

 …Bada Boom!
Defeat 20 Enemies in a row with Homing Missiles

Easily done in a Survival Arena, simply keep launching your missiles with  and draining neon to refill your ammo until it pops. Just be sure not to use any other attack- no melee, no Neon Bolt, no finishers- and you should have this after a few short waves. You can upgrade the total number of salvos you can carry at once up to four and can add up to 100% damage to make this even easier.

 Fish in a Barrel
25 Stasis + Weakpoint Kills

Another easy combat trophy, once you have unlocked the Stasis Blast fire it with  to breifly suspend enemies in the air, use  to highlight their weakpoints and fire at them with  for the kill. This is cumulative and does not need to be done all at once.
